Mee-Sen Thai Eatery

My friend suggested that this place is one of the decent Thai restaurants in Portland. And I have to agree with him! I ordered Boat Noodles and it was sooooo goooooood! And Tod Mon is the must! It’s so hard to find a Thai restaurant with this menu! Love it. And staffs were so friendly! Will come back in a heartbeat.

For the menu I usually got, it was better in the past. Got too salty. Probably not getting it anymore

Our favorite Thai place

My partner and I ordered delivery from here. We normally love this place; I’ve eaten here in person and ordered takeout many times over the last few years. I ordered the Tom Yum with chicken as well as fried chicken larb. I’ve had the Tom Yum here before and it was great, but today it was by far the worst Tom Yum I’ve ever had. It somehow tasted simultaneously bland/not at all sour, and overwhelmingly of fish sauce. The larb was super disappointing too - the online menu shows it served with cucumbers and describes it as “served with fresh greens.” It came with one sad soggy leaf of lettuce and barely any other vegetables/herbs; it was mainly just soggy piece of fried chicken swimming fish vinaigrette. I wouldn’t classify this as a salad, nor larb. I couldn’t really eat either dish. I’m pretty sad about this :(
