Medo Halal Food Cart

Edit: Owner is accusing me of stealing a $8 halal order …really? I had bags full from Sephora, Ulta and Target with me from shopping. Why would I steal from a food truck? Read my experience below. Truly disgusted by the treatment. Please avoid this place at all costs!! Service was so unbelievably rude. I am still in shock. I went to buy a combo platter and paid with Apple Pay. Owner gave me a thumbs up and I walked away. He then chased after me a minute later and yanked the bag of food out of my hands and said the card declined and started running off. I walked over and did Apple Pay again and it worked. He had a faulty card machine and could have handled the situation better instead of treating me like a criminal. If you want better halal food go to Adels downtown. Portion was terrible too. Note to the owner: Start treating your customers like human beings.

Is there crack in this?

My almost weekly go-to in UES for chicken over rice and chicken gyro (personal favorite). Always delicious, perfectly seasoned. Excellent and friendly service. I hope they have not been harassed by the guy who has been ranting at a nearby food truck.

It’s okay, not impressed by any halal cart on the UES so far unfortunately

I’ve tried a lot of halal carts all over NYC and I can definitely say this the best. Service and food were amazing and the owner was extremely nice. If you’re in the area u gotta try it.
