Nice view, but food was bad, the mussel and rice was stinky and smelly, server no show in the 1st 20 mins, very pricy for just the good view
Lovely restaurant in a beautiful Spanish-style hotel. The view is unbeatable. We came here for brunch with the family. Our server was warm and friendly. I asked to substitute the ham for salmon in the eggs benedict and it was delicious. We all agreed the blueberry pancakes were the best we’d ever eaten!
Food, it seems like they are missing something. The service went way beyond Michael serving us with a smile, attentive and humble behavior. The atmosphere is great. You can choose between an ocean view or a fireplace view, and they have a full bar. Reservation highly recommended. Parking: They have pulic parking, wallet cost $ 18 for temporary
Welcome to my rare 1 STAR review, and I hope you enjoy this read: 1. Atmosphere/Ambience - great! 2. Service - great! 3. Food presentation- great ! (4 appetizers + main course) 4. Food taste - all 5 dishes tasted ABHORRENT…chicken unchewable, octopus stale & burnt, mussels bitter, tuna pungent & nearly rotten, ceasar salad - tasteless (at least it was not rotten!) The most disgusting tasting high-end establishment I have been to so far….however, credit given where credit is due… Pina Colada was very good.
Friendly, amazing view, delicious!
Tried their vegan burger was so good has pistachio in it!
Delicious Mediterranean menu with a great view of La Jolla. I appreciated the vegetarian options and the overall comfort of the dining room. Vegetarian options: While the vegetarian options were limited, what they did offer was excellent.
Really nice chill vibe very pricey and not great staff but yummy
Great place with good views, food could have been a bit warmer when served. Note that specific day was super windy and cold. Nice view and good service. Get yourself a blanket if cold.
We had a delightful dining experience at this restaurant, where we reserved a table specifically for its delectable cuisine and stunning ocean view. To kick off the evening, I opted for a dark beer, reminiscent of Guinness, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Despite not being overly hungry, we decided to try two appetizers: the clam and octopus. The generous portions left us completely satisfied, with flavors that were absolutely exquisite. Our server, Ryan, was incredibly knowledgeable and guided us through the menu with helpful recommendations. His friendly demeanor and exceptional customer service truly enhanced our dining experience. We savored our meal while taking in the beautiful ocean view, making it one of the most memorable dining experiences during our time in La Jolla.
