I absolutely loved the Tonkotsu Ramen! I love that I can add onto what I want in it and that I can ask for more noodles at any time!! I also loved the drinks!!
Awesome place, awesome people! Food is really good, vegetarian and vegan options. I would have loved a dessert to end on a sweet note though, just to make it even better :)
Mediocre ramen. Good drinks, but the boba in their bubble tea stick together as one big clump. Music is extremely loud.
If I could leave 8 stars, I would. In Boston on a business trip and I saw Mecha on Google Maps. The atmosphere is awesome - super friendly staff, wood aesthetic - very welcoming. The red oil dumplings were absolutely fantastic - the sauce they were in was sublime. The tonkotsu ramen was easily the best bowl of ramen I've ever had - better than famous places in NYC like Ichiran and Ippudo. Absolutely perfect broth and chewy noodles. Prices are very reasonable. Will absolutely return!
Friendly, caring staff. Delicious food. Would recommend if you’re looking for somewhere quick, welcoming & delicious.
The food was average. The price was reasonable. Very chill. In a nice area but I don’t think you’ll find parking
I honestly am really disappointed by this place. I was expecting A LOT more. They have pho Thai on their menu however they serve you some sort of chopped up random pieces of meat? The broth lacks depth of flavor and over all just really disappointing. The noodles were also over cooked ???? I wouldn’t ever recommend going here for pho. My husband said that the ramen broth was pretty good however but the meat lacked flavor. The restaurant was cool inside but like again wouldn’t come back here.
i am not usually one to leave reviews, but i just have to say. the manager theo and the girl with the brown/blonde ombré curly hair (i wish i asked her name) behind the bar were some of the nicest people i’ve ever encountered in a restaurant. i unfortunately had a piece of meat in my vegetarian ramen, but the manager came over to apologize and shook my hand when he did not need to, gave me a brand new ramen and comped my whole bill. it was very nice and i just appreciated them being understanding, if something like that happens at other places, usually they just bring me a new one. sometimes they don’t even care and i still end up paying for it, but in my 10 years of being vegetarian i’ve never experienced service like that. i don’t know if that’s saying something about restaurants or the restaurants i’ve been too in general or if this place is just over the top but either way i had a wonderful experience at mecha noodle bar and i will definitely be back! in terms of what i ordered, it was delicious, despite the meat in my ramen, i ended up having a wonderful meal! and if you read this far, you should definitely try the spiked mango lassi bubble tea (you can have it non spiked too) it was wonderful :) ALSO BONUS I REALLY LOVED THAT THEY WERE PLAYING HxH ON THE TVS! Vegetarian options: they have one ramen choice for vegetarians, and a couple appetizers as well. not a huge selection but the ramen was great imo
Went here for a noodle lunch. We have been to the location in West Hartford, before we moved to MA and this location was definitely on par with that restaurant. We got a nice seat by the window. Their Pho Bo Vien is comforting, with a rich broth and tender meatballs. I added marrow oil to mine for a flavor boost. Their Coconut Shrimp Bao Buns are a yummy blend of soft buns and crispy shrimp. I was told that the Mecha Noodle Bar's spicy beef ramen has perfectly balanced heat makes each bite enjoyable, although less spicy than expected. The Thai Iced Tea is sweet and refreshing, complemented perfectly by chewy Boba. Our service was decent, however we didn’t receive our drinks until after we received our appetizer and main courses. It was understandably busy due to it being the weekend. Great for anime lovers, glad to see that this chain is becoming more popular.
