Meat & Bread may be originally from Vancouver. But it is an Austin treasure. Delicious sandwiches. Amazing consistency (any time you go you'll be satisfied), top-notch ingredients, and among the friendliest staff you could ask for. We're lucky to have Ernie and Lindsay in town and you'll be hard-pressed to find a better sandwich!

We stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday during our trip to Austin. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We had the two most popular sandwiches - porschetta and meatball. They were both delicious! Highly recommend.
