Mcdonough's Restaurant & Lounge

4 of us stopped in for mid-afternoon drinks and appetizers. When the waitress stated, "You're not ordering any food?" and we referenced the appetizers we had ordered with our drinks, the service went from bad to worse. The waitress would drop off what we ordered, not say a word, and simply walk away without giving us an opportunity to ask for anything additional or ensure we were satisfied with our orders. When we were ready to leave, the waitress was nowhere to be found. So I had to go to the bar and request the check. I noticed our waitress was too busy hanging with the bar crowd watching the game on TV to make her way back to our table. It could have been an enjoyable experience if only we had a server who cared about the establishment's patrons. Too bad!

Nice Irish dive bar. Keep your expectations reasonable and you won't be disappointed.
