McDonald's

Walked in today with phone in hand McDonalds App loaded and in the process of ordering breakfast. I asked the girl behind the counter for the code to enter the restroom. She told me I have to ORDER FIRST or I could not use the restroom! I ordered and stood at the counter for nearly 10 minutes being ignored!!! Finally the girl comes to the counter, I show her my order number on their screen. She punches in the code for the restroom as I ask her for the Managers name. She refuses to give me the name of the manager. When I persist, she finally says "Margarita" but swears she doesn't know "Margaritas" last name. After the restroom, I collect my order and ask for the manager, the girl refuses and tells me I can complain "online". I don't give up so easily and insist on speaking with the manager who finally comes to the counter and flat out refuses to give her last name. They all keep repeating to make a complaint online. No, I called corporate customer service and registered a proper complaint! Incidently, Governor Gavin Newsome in 2022 signed into law the Restroom Access Act, this provides that these business establishments MUST allow ANYONE to use the restroom -whether customer or not. This is the SECOND time I've had an issue with the W. Capitol Ave. Store in Sacramento, it is also the SECOND time I've visited the store. My advice, don't do ANY business with that store, the Franchise owner doesn't care about customer service for those who support his business. UPDATE: I was contacted by the owner whom apologized for the incident(s) and began to explain about the homeless population in the area using the restroom to bathe or whatever usually making quite a mess etc. My view: That's all part of doing business, so you have to have your employees (who will soon all be making $20 hr) clean the restrooms more often. I think it more wise to have your employees tend to the restrooms more often than to alienate your paying customers. Additionally, compassion for the downtrodden i.e. homeless, underprivileged, poor, etc. is what Christ taught. Have we lost ALL of our compassion for humanity? If I were the owner/manager you can bet I'd be inviting them in for the restroom use and a free cheeseburger and ice water whenever I could.

I go here all the time the breakfast crew knows my name and order.

THIS IS THE WORST RESTAURANT I'VE BEEN IN!!!! There are homeless people inside!!! VERY UNPLEASANT SMELL!!!! I LEFT THERE!!! THE SMELL IS HORRIBLE!!! AND THE MACHINE GAVE ME A BLANK CHECK!!!!

Fries fresh...people were nice.. It was a good day
