McDonald's

I usually enjoy McDonalds food. This time the fries were crunchy and had too much oil on them, it was very noticeable the excess. Did not enjoy them that much as usual. My stomach suffered the excess of oil after that. My drink was ok. The hamburger was ok. I dine inside, when I went to look for ketchup, they did not have any ketchup cup on the counter. No ketchup when the food was brought to the table. I asked for one, but they did not have. Place look dirty, tables were sticky, the seats and floor had food remaining. They had the caution wet floor signs when it was not clean. Price seems high in comparison to the quality of the food. Service was ok.

In terms of Springfield's McDonald's, this location is the worst. The staff will stare at you while you wait for your food, and always look annoyed. The COVID-19 protocols are ignored, with facemasks being worn as chinstraps and the clean table signs being flipped without any cleaning. They may decide at any moment past 10 pm to only serve door dash drivers. Even if I live a couple of blocks away from this location, I am more likely to opt driving to the Derr location. Update 2 years later: They still suck. Still would rather go to the Derr road location. Lobby closes at 8 PM. Still a strong chance they shutdown drive thru to only doordash at 10 PM, even on weekend nights. They give less fries than other McDonald's locations now. One upside is they surprisingly have an excellent fish sandwich maker during Lent. Ordered twice in the past two weeks and the boxes were clean with tartar sauce not spilling out. Whoever makes those fish sandwiches deserves the recognition. The app has some decent deals and I use it exclusively when I visit this store, quality isn't worth full price - besides this fish sandwich.

I wish I had a picture of the iced coffee they tried to give to me. It was dark brown and had chunks of creamer floating in it. I handed it back and asked to have it remade. I pulled forward and they brought me a new one, from a "fresh" pot, that APPEARED much better. It tasted like coffee flavored water and had coffee grounds on the bottom of the cup. WHY CAN"T ANY MCDONALDS MAKE A CONSISTENT ICED COFFEE????????

Well here I sit at the worst fast food restaurant. I am not here by choice I'm here because of my job (door dash) and I'm telling you I have been in line for 20 min and have only moved up one spot. Well I have sat another 10 min and I'm at the box to order but no one has said anything and they have taken 2 other cars orders! Well I ended driving away from box after they started taking the 3rd order from the other box. I get to the window and tell them that I have and order to pick up she hands it to me and closes the window!! I am really really done with this McDonald's

DO NOT GO HERE Shorted my order and took thirty minutes. The people who work are usually really nice but my god, something is majorly broken. if i wouldn’t have been picking up for a very sick family member who wants in specific thing, i would have left. 30 minutes to get food through the drive thru, normal order, 4 sandwiches and a tea. Pulled into the drive through at 5:54pm and sat with 1 car in front of me for 13 minutes, got through the drive thru at 6:18pm … only to be told to pull over to #1 bc they just put new sandwiches on. Finally got my food at 6:25. No apology or anything. No ketchup and a child size fry amount of fries in a large fry box. Its always bad but this was just INSANE. I will never, ever, ever come back.
