You know, my expectations of McDonald’s is not that high, but this one is pretty good. Burger was not totally dried out, but actually pretty moist.

I usually never review restaurants as I’ve worked in many and I know the struggles. But this McDonald’s does not have any sense of food safety. I watched a kid make a frappe, top it with whipped cream, lick his fingers then put my lid on. After he handed us our drinks and food he licked his fingers again and proceeded to go back to work without washing his hands. That’s gross. This was in customer view so I can’t imagine what is happening in the kitchen. Not to mention these employees have terrible attitudes for no apparent reason but that’s no surprise since most McDonald’s have become like that.

I picked up food from here Monday December 11. I got to the window and the employee, who clearly wasn't right in the head, made my milkshake and got some whipped cream on his fingers. He proceeded to lick/suck the whipped cream off of his fingers before handing my my milkshake. He rubbed his nose with the back of his hand before going back to his job. I ordered a strawberry milkshake, not salivaberry. I called the number on the window to leave a complaint, and also made one through the app and still haven't heard a response besides the generic corporate e-mail that the franchise would reach out to me. In this post-covid world food safety should be priority #1. Don't have kids who know nothing about hygiene handling our food. Update 2/2024: Dude is still working there and I never received correspondence from management.

Regrettably, my recent sojourn into the gastronomic domain of McDonald's unfolded as an intricate tapestry of lamentable intricacies, wherein a cascade of disappointments coalesced to form an indelible impression of dissatisfaction. Foremost among these disconcerting revelations was the dolorous discovery of victuals that, far from exuding the expected culinary ardor, arrived in a lamentably tepid state, epitomizing a culinary quagmire marked by an egregious neglect of the sine qua non of gastronomic excellence — the preservation of optimal temperature and gustatory freshness. This glaring shortcoming not only precipitated an insipid gustatory experience but also engendered profound reservations regarding the overall gastronomic integrity of the fare dispensed. The lamentations did not conclude at the gastronomic frontier but permeated the bastion of service with a marked dearth of affability and solicitousness. The hitherto sacrosanct ambiance of conviviality was conspicuously eclipsed by the pall of dispassion that shrouded the countenance of the service personnel. Furthermore, the environs within the establishment, ostensibly a sanctum of culinary repose, were bereft of the requisite immaculateness one anticipates in a venerated dining locale. A forensic examination of the interior milieu revealed a panoply of cleanliness transgressions, including but not limited to disheveled seating arrangements and disarrayed accouterments, all of which detracted markedly from the anticipated dining ambiance. As the apotheosis of culinary misfortune, a mere postprandial interval sufficed to herald the onset of an unexpected gastrointestinal malaise, precipitating an unwarranted and distressing bout of diarrhea. This physiological tumult, an unwelcome epilogue to an already disconcerting narrative, inevitably engenders profound hesitancy in contemplating any future dalliance with the McDonald's epicurean purview. Wheelchair accessibility: In an era where inclusivity and accessibility are paramount considerations, the evaluation of public spaces in terms of accommodating individuals with diverse needs is essential. A recent visit to McDonald's presented a heartening revelation regarding the commendable strides the franchise has taken to ensure wheelchair accessibility. This essay aims to delve into the exemplary wheelchair accessibility features at the McDonald's establishment, underscoring how it has emerged as a beacon of inclusivity. Body: Ramp Accessibility: One of the standout features of this McDonald's was the provision of well-constructed ramps, strategically positioned at the entrance. These ramps not only facilitated seamless entry for wheelchair users but also demonstrated a thoughtful approach to ensuring that all patrons, regardless of mobility challenges, could access the premises with ease. Spacious Interior Layout: Once inside, the spacious layout of the restaurant proved to be a pivotal factor in enhancing wheelchair accessibility. Ample space between tables and designated wheelchair-accessible seating areas underscored a commitment to fostering an environment where everyone could navigate freely, unencumbered by spatial constraints. Accessible Restrooms: The restroom facilities further exemplified McDonald's commitment to inclusivity. Thoughtfully designed accessible restrooms were equipped with proper support bars, sufficient maneuvering space, and accessible sinks, ensuring that patrons with mobility challenges could navigate these spaces with autonomy and dignity. Adaptive Technology and Ordering Systems: McDonald's innovative incorporation of adaptive technology was particularly noteworthy. The establishment had self-service kiosks with adjustable height features, allowing wheelchair users to independently place their orders without requiring assistance. This forward-thinking approach not only streamlined the ordering process but also empowered patrons with diverse abilities. Training and Sensitization: Beyond physical infrastructure, the staff's proficiency in handling wheelchair accessibility concerns was evident. Well-trained and sensitive personnel ensured a positive and accommodating experience for wheelchair users, fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity and understanding. Conclusion: The McDonald's visited not only met but exceeded expectations in terms of wheelchair accessibility. The strategic implementation of ramps, spacious interiors, accessible restrooms, and innovative adaptive technology collectively demonstrated a commitment to inclusivity that goes beyond mere compliance with accessibility regulations. This McDonald's establishment serves as a laudable model for other businesses, illustrating how prioritizing wheelchair accessibility can create a welcoming environment for patrons of all abilities. In a society that increasingly values diversity and inclusivity, McDonald's sets an exemplary standard for others to emulate in the pursuit of creating universally accessible public spaces.
