Got my order right finally. And service was quick.
This is a busy McDonald's. The service was on par for the pace of business. It's McDonald's, so I wouldn't expect 5 star accommodations.
I could’ve been admitted into the hospital and out quicker than I could’ve got a sandwich here. Ouch!
Best McDonald's in downtown Birmingham!
Overall a great McDonalds. Usually quick, consistently good food, and great service. Losing a star because their price for hash browns is not competitive. There are McDonald’s locations close by that charge $2.19, but it’s $2.99 here. This is a 36% markup! Most items are slightly marked up at this location, which I understand due to it being downtown by UAB. But the hash brown price is marked up a far larger percentage than anything else for no apparent reason.
I'm not sure if it's because I'm white but one my order wasn't taken right and when I asked her she acted Like it was but when I got the recipet it clearly was wrong, 3$ more but okay so I let that go, then I get my food and the hashbrown is so dang out but the guy at the window tried saying it was the grease but I worked at McDonald's for 7 years and no bro its old. To argue with the customer is ridiculous, on top of that taking back the old hashbrown through the window is also a huge no no, I'm truly ready to be one of those customers and throw this food at them. Then one of the cashiers just knocked on the window trying to get me to drive around the building which would make me have to get on the main road to come back around are you kidding me, finally got my hashbrown fresh but I had to jump through loops to get it. I swear what the hell kinda McDonald's is this...
