McCormick & Schmick's Seafood & Steaks

We we're disappointed to see how reduced is the menú now. As we were also surprised that there is no more fresh fish selections available.

Great location. Walking distance to most of downtown. Food and service was good. They have a Friday night date special for those interested

We arrived about 6:30 PM and were seated promptly. We ordered drinks from the bar 10 minutes later waitress said she was headed to check drinks( took food order), returned 10 minutes later and said she would check again. Returned to tell us drinks were taken by someone else and bar was remaking. 20 minutes later drinks arrived. She had to smoke one of the drinks and the torch was out of butane, left again and about 5 mins later returned to smoke drink with working torch. About 15-30 minutes later food arrived, with one order completely wrong salad with shrimp ordered and fried shrimp arrived! Chilean sea bass was amazing, asparagus tough, stuffed salmon was good. Server huffed and marched off! I am not eating what I didn’t order, sorry! 10 mins later strawberry goat cheese salad arrived it was 3 leaves of butter lettuce with 1 strawberry quartered with goat cheese and 8 beautiful plump shrimp. I personally would have liked the salad described. I thought I was ordering a dinner salad, this at best was a side salad with shrimp. After dinner a menuwas shoved on the corner of our table, then she came back and asked if we wanted dessert, we said we would like a menu, we didn’t know the menu on the corner of our table was dessert. She opened it and handed it to us. McCormick and Schmidt is overpriced with only fair ( at best) food and service!

Fantastic food but small portions. The stuffed salmon was amazing!
