Come for the oysters, stay for the steaks, fish, & views! I brought the oldest daughter's beau for a man to man, heart to heart, and boy was the food outstanding. Absolutely, let's focus on the food, the drinks, the views. They make a great steak, and certainly the oysters here in the Northwest are the best on the planet, but my friends, the sea bass. The SEA BASS! It will reprogram everything you know about seafood. Oscar style, fresh veggies, potato puree. I'm drooling just remembering that meal. It was exquisite.

Calimari with Thai spices was good, clam chowder was decent

Great drinks. Food was very good. The crab cake was good but too expensive for what you get. The walnut salad with grilled salmon was phenomenal. Highly recommend. The bourbon glazed salmon was okay, but everything on the plate was a bit too much on the sweet side and the fried colcannon was both too mushy and too greasy. Will definitely come back here again. The atmosphere was very romantic.

I have been to mccormick & schmick's pretty much all over the Country and this is the first one that disappointed. I stopped in for lunch and had rockfish. Fish was not fresh. It smelled of ammonia and did not have a good flavor. It wasn’t expired but very close. Usually they will have a Parmesan encrusted flounder or sole or something of the sort. Did not have it on this menu. Poor oyster selection as well. It was truly a chain store experience this time.

I went solo so i grabbed a seat at the bar. I ordered the WEST AUSTRALIAN LOBSTER TAIL (8 OZ.) adorned with Scampi Shrimp Topped / Grilled Asparagus / Mashed Potatoes. I also ordered oysters for my appetizer. The baked parmesan pesto I believe. Everything was phenomenal. Especially the lobster. It was plump, filling, juicy, and fresh. Mmmm. I will be back again.

Had a reservation for 5 and was seated in a timely manner. However we waited ~20 minutes before staff showed up to take our drink and food order. Meals arrived...I've been eating hear for 20+ years and found the meals and service to be very good overall. The lobster bisque however tasted nothing like lobster bisque not really very good. The salmon pasta was so fishy it was not really edible. Mashed potatoes had the taste and texture of instant. The salads...enough! You get the point. The drinks are awesome and creative. Dislike writing a negative review, hopefully just an off night.
