Fantastic setting for a restaurant, got the best seat in the house by the window Haley took great care of us. From the limited time we spent in Italy it felt much more authentic to us than other Italian restaurants. Wine flight was awesome and a great value. Make sure to try all the different flavors of bread
First off, if I was scoring purely on food and service, this would be 5 stars. They ain't the problem. A member of our party and myself are disabled. The handicap "entrance" is around the back, into employee parking, up a ramp next to the trash cart. On our way out, we had to squeeze past a SUV to get back onto the street. Yes, I know this is a historical house, but that frankly doesn't justify making disabled people feel like an afterthought or inconvenience. There's no indication that this is the handicap entrance, or that the building even has one (even if it's literally just the trash ramp, and only accidentally the handicap entrance). We had to call to find out if there even was such an entrance. Also, if anyone in your party is in a chair, they're going to have a seriously hard time navigating the space generally, especially if someone's blocking street access from the "handicap entrance". Patrick was an absolutely fantastic server. Friendly, knowledgeable, patient. Also, the food was close to perfect (my spaghetti was the slightest bit past al dente). Like I said, the food and service were not the problem dropping the review to 3 stars. While I dig live music, last night's music (2-1-24) was obnoxiously loud. Pretty much killed the atmosphere, made conversation and communicating with our server borderline impossible. Probably will try this joint again on a night without last century covers played at maximum volume ;-).
Honestly some of the best Italian food around for a decent price! Definitely my favorite food vendor at Stovehouse (and that says a lot considering my love for El Cazador). Highly recommend the gnocchi! If you're not looking for a meal, still stop by for some amazing gelato 🤤😍
Huge shout out to the Mazzara’s crew for staying opening with the pandemic going on and Doctors offices still having to stay open. Which doesn’t leave me and my coworkers to choose from a lot of places to eat, they are also offering a discount for medical workers, doing delivery’s and curbside. So I highly recommend this place if you are like me running out of places to eat from. Food is fresh and delicious!!! Also their prices are amazing for the amount of serving 👍🏼
I havent eaten here yet, but I saw this guy offer to feed a family that had hungry children during this quarantine. Props to you and your restaurant. I will be visiting (or ordering) soon!
After some initial hiccups with discrepancies between hours listed and opening details, things seem to be running a lot smoother. I deleted my initial “doesn’t recommend” review because it would only let me edit the review, not change the recommendation status. I want to whole-heartedly recommend your place. I’ve now eaten here several times and the food is always delicious and the staff is friendly and efficient. The chicken fettuccini is fabulous. My husband (who claims not to like Italian food) LOVED your grilled tenderloin special with polenta and fried Brussels sprouts. The gelato is wonderful. We look forward to many years of delicious dinners here.
Food was incredible but the seating was poopy 😅 the chairs just don’t hold any weight. The staff was very friendly! Will be back.
First of all I don’t like giving bad reviews because I know everyone has bad days including restaurants. So with that being said, the first time was amazing, the second time was ok, today was terrible!!! I ordered the vegan lasagna and it had very few vegetables and a ton of cheese! The flavor was bland and it was $17 just for me!!!! That included drink, lasagna which it comes with a tiny side salad that was incredibly small!! I’m all for giving restaurants another try but now I’m done.
Absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend!!
Great food , clean , and the crew are really nice
