A great place to party out with friends

6 of my friends and I bought tickets for Maya day club to see Breathe Carolina and celebrate my fiancé and I’s engagement. On our tickets it lists “DRESS CODE STRICTLY ENFORCED: For the dayclub there is NO: sweats, jeans, basketball shorts, or sports jerseys allowed.”. We arrive and my boyfriend is wearing camo and apparently that’s a “gang related” print now and was refused service. First, off I would like to say that I’ve worn camo multiple times to maya and it’s never been an issue but my Fiancé can’t wear it? In addition, we had brought all of our closet friends and bought tickets to maya to celebrate my ENGAGEMENT and instead we had to leave because he was wearing camo. A great club vibe with good Dj's

$50 for a ticket last night, stayed in line from 10:15pm - 1:30am before I left... Watched tons of people skip the lines because they "knew someone" Very disorganized, waste of time and money... Cool place if you can get in, but I would not recommend. It's Scottsdale, not Las Vegas...

10/10 least discriminatory ever

(This club is not even worth the thought of a star, let alone the one I am required to click in order to submit a review.)If you are into being denied entry based upon your choice of club partner, then this is the club for you. My dear friend was denied entry on the premise that "We do not let people like you (I.E., gay) in here". We live in a modern age, and the fact that I must call out this entirely inappropriate, unprofessional, and non lucrative witch hunt online is exhausting but completely necessary. As long as no one is causing disruptive, harmful, or otherwise legally innapropriate behavior, let them party in peace. Selecting your consenting club partner is not, and should never be, considered amongst these as the basis of service refusal.
