Had an amazing dining experience at Max's Restaurant in Chicago! The Filipino cuisine was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. The warm and inviting atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment. Don't miss out on their signature dishes—they're a true culinary delight! Can't wait to visit again. #MaxsChicago #FoodieHeaven

Excellent value for a sit-down restaurant with great food and great service at reasonable prices. Food: Egg rolls were flavorful but their texture smacked of from-the grocer's freezer quality. So, ordered (1) half chicken that looked big enough to be a whole chicken, deep-fried and this restaurant's rightly-deserved signature dish, (2) daing na bangus, a very large, meaty milkfish marinated in a mixture of vinegar, crushed peppercorn, garlic, and salt, (3) lechon kawali, large pork belly bites deep-fried in a pan or wok, (4) "small," even though it was much larger than small, garlic rice, and (5) calamansi juice, a juice from the calamansi citrus fruit which is used extensively in Filipino cooking and tastes both sweet and sour. Portions were immense and so leftovers for everything (but the calamansi juice) needed boxing to take home. Flavors were excellent throughout, although the garlic rice could definitely have been stronger and the lechon kawali, while cut in traditional-sized cubes, could be cut in smaller bites for easy munching. Last, everything was crunchy...but the rice and juice, of course! Too full to eat dessert, but looking forward to trying Max's caramel bars. 4/5 Service: Servers were attentive and considerate and personable. Tip well. 5/5 Atmosphere: Clean, spacious, bright and airy, with vast windows to look outside. However, restrooms needed to be kept up as hand soap and 1-ply TP were running low. 4/5 Parking: Ample parking is available depending on arrival.

I have to wait for an hour and 30 minutes for a 12 noon pickup online order. Just unacceptable , no prior notice that orders are delayed. Poor process , very unsatisfactory , Complete disregard of customer's time. And staffs just don't care about it. Like it's our fault that our orders are not completed on time

Vegetarian options: They have a sizzling tofu that is very delicious. You can also order any noodle dish without meat or chop suey without meat. Everything is made to order so they can customize anything.
