Max and Louie's New York Diner

One of my favorite places to visit in all of San Antonio. Today, Shelby made the morning sparkle with her positive energy and smile. Thanks for making our day a little brighter! Dan really made us feel at home as well. If you're not in a good mood before you talk to Dan, he'll take care of that! We tried the blintzes and the hash. Both were really good. And the cupcake made out if noodles and raisins and custard. Different? Definitely. Delicious? Decidedly! Way too much food to finish, but we love taking a little of the diner home to enjoy later. :) Keep being great, Drew and crew!

Good service, hour wait on a Sunday but I joined the wait-list on yelp before arriving, the tables are pretty close to each other, and plenty of good choices on the menu. They have a variety of good drinks and shakes (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), I enjoyed my Shirley Temple and the mimosa was good but strong. They do breakfast pretty well! Enjoyed my New York deli hash, French toast cooked perfectly, fresh fruit bowl was actually fresh, the banana pecan pancakes are HUGE but delicious and enjoyed whatever that syrup was. There's so much more on the menu that I'm actually interested in trying here so will definitely be visiting again!

First time here, our party of 8 was welcomed at 8:30 pm, The food was delicious freshly prepared and served hot temperature wise. Although we arrived 30 minutes away from closing, we were never rushed, our waiter was very attentive to keeping our drinks filled and very friendly. I will be coming back to eat here again.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while but must say I was disappointed. It was a busy Sunday, and we waited about 20 minutes for a table. The service was very slow and our sandwiches were skimpy and dry. plus we paid over $80 for 2 drinks, 2 sandwiches and tip which is ridiculous . Might go back once more to try breakfast.

My family & I just had breakfast today and let me tell you food is amazing! Very Delicious! Didn’t even take long for it to come out. Our server was very friendly up until we payed we gave her our tip cash and she counted it in front of us and looked disappointed and walked away without even saying thank you. If you don’t like your job as waiter don’t work as one.

They were high quality and authentic to their New York roots and leave you wishing you had a bigger stomach to eat everything!

A friend recommended it to me, because I like a Great Ruben sandwich. Will definitely be back. My waiter was Awesome, I didn't remember his name.
