Can I give it a half star? Glorified Mexican restaurant with way to high prices

Was told waiting period was 20 minutes but it was only 15 so that was very pleasant.

This place is beautiful inside! Very clean and very “Mexican decor” if you will. Right when we sat down we received child size waters with no ice and no straw. Small cups of room temperature water almost warm water. The Queso is just melted velveeta minus the rotel or cilantro or even the tiniest onion. If you don’t eat it asap it will get cold like dip in a chip and it come out with nothing on it cold. I even attempted to dip my son’s fry in the “queso” during the meal and it came out with nothing on it because it was already hard. The tortilla soup came out very cold. We thought that was just a fluke but nope the fried shrimp and my husband’s grilled shrimp came out cold, his flautas were also cold. My meal came with a salad and it was lettuce with a massive load of tomatoes dropped in the middle. My husband just looked at me and giggled. Salsa was yummy so were the chips. Do yourself a favor and go to baby a’s and have Helen’s combo or even go to Taco More and have the flauta plate with rice and charro beans vs. Matt’s.

We walked in with a party of 22 right before lunch and they accommodated us quickly and with a warm welcome. Great food, great service, and true Mexican atmosphere/decor/art! Loved it.

So much to like at this Tex-Mex institution. Try the spicy Bob! Parking: No Kid-friendliness: Lots of tables. Two dining rooms and a separate bar room.

The waitress was very rude and took a long time to take our order. We ordered fajitas for 2 and we received more onions then meat, We were only able to make 2 small tacos. We received No refills on our drinks, We were also a table of 10 so we had to pay gratuity.
