Matjoa Korean BBQ Restaurant

I recently went to lunch here on 4/12/24 and it was not very satisfying. The service was terrible, and the marinated meats smelled as if they had been sitting out for hours. When we asked for water refills, we were told to "wait our turn" which I feel was very unprofessional ad rude considering we had already been waiting 20 minutes for the food. I would like to get in contact with someone please and thankyou Parking: very limited amount of parking spaces **may have to park in neighboring businesses parking space**

Don't appreciate being charged a 4% fee for using a credit card. It's part of doing business. I understand fees are high but again it's part of owning a business. Also, review your contract with the credit cart vendor. Fees for using ccd are against policy. Read the fine print. But either way will cause customer dissatisfaction. Don't accept them. Do cash only. Good luck.

The food is amazing, staff is super friendly. If there was only one thing which could be improved, it would be the ventilation. With Korean bbq it can get a little smokey. I have a newborn and I would go to this place a lot more if the ventilation was better. However with that said, that kind of environment is pretty authentic so gotta respect that.

Great Korean BBQ

We love this spot. The service is always outstanding and the food perfect. Great family-style.portions. We have yet to have a dish that we didn't enjoy. My favorites are the beef bulgogi and kimchee pancakes. You can't go wrong with japchae for people unfamiliar with Korean dishes. Other family favs (Korean family members) are the soups and variety of kimchee.

Food is good but they made a table of 5 adults that ordered the “all you can eat” option ($50 pp) to also order that same option for 4 kids (aged 3-6). We ordered separate food for the kids but no way these kids were eating the all you can eat option…they booted us. Fortunately Tyrone has a Korean bbq spot that’s even better :)

Decent food but they’re STRICT about the all you can eat options. We had a party of 4 and all but one of us ordered the AYCE option and they made us leave unless the forth person also ordered that. Bizarre. Waitress was nice but the manager was rude. Drove in from Tampa to try this…won’t be back!
