Mastro's Ocean Club

Service was solid, drinks met expectations, dinner entrees were absolutely awful. Overcooked and under-seasoned steaks, wilted salads, and sea bass that tasted like halibut (at best) with fishy flavor. Manager made accommodations which we appreciated. When exiting, the restaurant staff were outside smoking adjacent to the front door - not what you would expect of such an establishment. Overall an extremely disappointing experience considering the price.

We just enjoyed our 52 Anniversary with our son and his wife and children. They even printed the menu congratulating our accomplishment. Outstanding !!!

Very nice upscale joint. We went here with a small business group for dinner and had a fantastic experience. Our server was top notch and the food and drinks were excellent. The location was great to walk around in the strip afterwards as well! Duke is the best!

Our waitress was awesome , food was perfect roasted bone marrow was superb

I really used to like this establishment until tonight, I had been there for 2 maybe almost 3 hours at the bar and this was my 2nd time going to restroom. On a Friday night there was a huge crowd where in one part I couldn't get by so I had to walk around near the entrance portion to get by. As I'm walking by I am stopped by one of the bartender girls that had been serving me all night and she told me I needed to leave a card before I left the bar area I explained to her I was going to use the restroom and that I had done so before that evening as well as several other occasions I visited ocean club She persisted on that I needed to leave a card or something because they had.alot of walkout. (Which is not my problem to begin with) , I felt very offended especially obviously being one of the youngest patrons there. I told her I was paying with cash and also told her this has NEVER been an issue for me and to call me out infront.of other patrons was very uncalled her and unprofessional. I told her she could hold onto my phone if that made her feel any better. And she took my phone and I went onto the bathroom Really though? I have never once received that type of treatment from an establishment, and for it being Mastros, I expected alot more of a higher grade of service and respect from this establishment. Across the street at Dominick's, I never had this issue and may just stick to going over there instead. I still tipped the wait staff either way, however- it was uncalled for It is not the patrons problem to deal with walk outs. For this being a upscale restaurant. I expect upscale service, walkouts are NOT the patrons problem. And nor should it be pick and choose. Plenty of others utilized the restroom or left their seats to wander, but it wasn't a problem and no card was held for a fact. The gentleman around me asked what happened and they also agreed it was uncalled for. Train your staff better and have a consistent protocol, this was extremely unprofessional and you need to figure out a different way to approach patrons thinking they are going to walk out, when clearly if some common sense was used, you could see why one couldn't get around a certain part because there is no room at the bar and people are standing in the aisle socializing. I had a great time overall but towards end of the Night when this happened, it was a real mood killer. Get it together before yall become like City Hall

We dined at Mastro's for my birthday, and the ambiance was fantastic. We were in the main dining area and could hear the music from the bar. It wasn't too loud and had great song selections. Our waiter and staff were attentive and made the night special. The oyster rockefeller was beautifully presented but packed with spinach and cheese. The ribeye was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The sea bass had a Parmesan oregano crust and was tasty, however not as buttery and flaky as I've had. It was almost as if it was cooked a minute too long. The creamed spinach was heavy on the cream cheese. It was good, but not good enough for us to want to box and take home. The complimentary butter cake for my birthday was tasty! The ice cream and homemade whip cream complimented it well. The Old Fashion was sweeter than most. The Hennessey sidecar was delicious. The latte was perfect. Overall, we enjoyed the ambiance and service.
