The Lavasanipour’s weren’t looking for a new favorite pizza place but….. If you happen to be, know that Mike’s will definitely impress. As soon as you walk in, welcomed with a warm greeting as if you were family arriving. Can’t say enough good things about this place! Big, HUGE shoutout to Massachusetts Mike’s team. What a fantastic touch to San Diego’s cuisine.

If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out! I had a meat lovers pizza slice pepperoni with jalapeños and Oh-Em-Gee!! Was it AMAZING!! The crust was crunchy, all the flavor bursting in your mouth and a perfect beer on tap to wash it down! Hands down best pizza in Hillcrest! Cherry on top, not only is staff so welcoming, Mike (the owner) knows how to work the crowd!

Everyone here was lovely and went above and beyond for me & my companion. Their garlic knots were delicious and the crust is impeccable.

It's the "Cheers" of pizza ... a friendly neighborhood place where everyone knows your name. I've been a regular since they opened just before COVID hit.. They've survived and grown in popularity. Small cozy dine-in area, busy for pick-ups. very customer oriented. You always feel welcome. Great people! Wonderful pizza!

I have been coming here for over a year now! The food is amazing, and the staff are outstanding! Mike and Kimberly are hard working and it shows when you walk through the door! Delicious pizza right down to the last bite! Reasonably priced and friendly service. Pizza crust is thin and the right balance between crispy and soft!

Ordered a large supreme for pick-up and it was amazing! Ready in 20 minutes. Parking is very difficult though, but so worth it!

Stumble upon this place while out with my wife and daughter. I’m a Boston native so thought let’s give it a try! I am super particular about pizza as I am an OG East coaster but been out here 14 years. This place is awesome! Pizza is great and their garlic knots are bomb! I recommend them to everyone I know and we order our from them regularly for our family parties.

If you want good pizza, go to Massachusetts Mike's! I don't even like pizza, but I like THIS pizza. And their cookies and garlic knots are unbelievable also. Service is great and I'll definitely be going back. Favorite pizza? BBQ Hawaiian, definitely.
