Masami Japanese Sushi & Cuisine

The cuisine is generally good. I'm all fairness I require a vegan menu and the options I found were ok for me but not great. However, my son found the food to be really good

By far my most favorite Japanese restaurant in Richardson. I often try different foods they have on their menu and so far the salt and pepper salmon is my favorite. I’ve yet to try their sake! Im very curious about this place! I love the atmosphere so much, and the service is always good ☺️

Ordered the udon it was over cooked to mush. I attempted to send it back and informed the manager I couldn’t eat it. To no avail I was told I would have to pay for it or take it to go I declined to take it to go and was still forced to pay for it at the full rate. I understand how family owned businesses work however, forcing a patron to pay for food they denied is unacceptable hope your policies change as a small business owner myself I would never subject paying customers to pay for rejected food. Server was the best hate she had experience such a shift in energy.

Hey, this place is great, the fish was fresh and everything was tastee. I'll be back to try more of the menu for certain. Get there EARLY or make a reservation because this place fills up fast. *** Get some new chairs *** There is NO reason for a place with food this good to have cheap mixed match seats from a 1980's buffet restaurant.

The best Japanese food in the area. The menu is wide and varies, so you can experiment with new foods or bring a first timer and slowly introduce them to the menu.

Hands down the best sushi spot in Richardson. The atmosphere is cozy, our server was great, and the food was amazing. The restaurant is small. Doesn't seat too many people, but that's ok, I really liked it. They have cute padding on the chairs, so you get the real Japanese dining experience. The server was attentive and super friendly. I didn't take any pictures, but I will next time. We ordered a few appetizers, the prices are great! I ordered 2 different dishes to split and a sake sampler. It was SO good! I will definitely be back!

My family lived in Japan for years, and this is the most authentic Japanese restaurant in DFW. Owned by a Japanese family, we were lucky one time to sit next to the owner/chef and his son. They prepared the food while having nice conversation with us. The menu goes beyond sushi, teriyaki and bento. But even their bento is not generic Americanized. The kara age chicken and miso soup that comes with it are amazingly, perfect umami. If you have lived or visited Japan and miss their delicacies, this is the right place to get that onigiri, agedashi tofu, suno mono, cawan mushi, kampachi kama, daifuku. The variety in the menu is amazing. Will always be back to try other menu items!

The American Sushi maker was horribly rude when I asked for sushi with no rice. I had a cucumber roll which worked but one of the Asian guys made it for me. The bartender and waiter were fantastic
