The place is cute inside they didn't change it too much from Malabar design. The prices are pretty high. I'm glad I went at happy hour (2-6) because the food is not good enough to pay the full price. Still spent $40 for 2 for lunch. Chips were cheap bag not hot or fresh. Salsa was ok but not great. Taquitos we're good, tortilla soup wasn't for me it was super thick and tomatoy large avocado chunks someone elseifht like it. The street tacos the issue is the meatb they use us good but their marinade is horrible. It was sooo salty my bf didn't eat his. I felt the same I only ate one. If they got fresh chips, got better salsa (less pace more Chevy's style) and got a better marinade for their meat it could almost be 5 stars. I'm not sure how they're going to survive in that big location without better food to match the prices. Our server was nice though.

Vegetarian options: What’s missing is a vegan menu(no animal products/cheese). A separate section, or better yet a separate menu, would bring Mas Fuego into the modern day. A discussion with our wonderful waiter, Cory, revealed a number of great options. I would much prefer to choose from the menu rather than scheme with a waiter to create the dishes I seek. Noise level here makes conversation a challenge. Our waiter moved us to a quieter area. FOOD & SERVICE ARE GREAT!

The place looked nice. The food was decent but not good enough for the price. I expect to pay more since I’m from out of town, but $15 for an alcoholic drink is a bit much and the service was so slow. Water came out 15 minutes after being sat, and entrée arrived at a decent time but well before the expensive drinks and the appetizer. Water refills only came at the end of the meal and closing out took well over 20 minutes. The experience was sad and left me feeling like my money would be better spent at Taco Bell and getting a Baja blast to go and running to Safeway to get vodka for it. Definitely would’ve been cheaper with better customer service.

We had the tortilla soup and the Fire Bowl with asada. Both dishes were served medium warm. I like my food to be hot when it's served. The soup was extremely salty and it didn't have any chips or tortilla...welcome fusion food. I also had a hibiscus water; this was extremely sweet...it almost seemed like syrup and not natural made. The waiter was completely lost every time we asked him something, he always had that "lost in space" kinda look. The place is beautiful...I'll give them that, however...debut y despedida. Not going back. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchair

Update: returned on January 26, 2024. Had a small dinner party. Seven of us. This time the rating dropped. I was at three stars. I'm now at one. I order fajitas, carnitas and mushrooms. Subbed double plantains for the sides. What arrived at my table was warm fajitas. The server came over later to tell me that the kitchen said the mushrooms were under the vegetables. Nope! After waiting and waiting for the server to come by I went to the kitchen to get my tortillas as well as my friend's. Oh the plantains - they eventually came. Probably 15-20 minutes later. There were two other orders. One came out around when my meal came out. Then my dessert, the flan, was clearly old. I know this because two other people ordered the same. Their flan was fresher. Zero stars is what's appropriate for this kitchen. Oh, those warm fajitas, the table next to us for sizzling fajitas. When I packed my leftovers I noticed the cast iron dish was severely rusted. Again, zero stars...for the kitchen and whoever is in charge. No need to try a third time
