Marugame Udon

I heard about this place by word of mouth and came across a discount code if I ordered though the app. One day I was in the mall feeling sick and with a sore throat, so thinking back on it, I used the promo code and ordered two cups of kake broth. That was the best broth I've ever had! I've come back many times since, trying various different things on the menu. Their noodle dishes are delicious and I love their tempura! I can't understate how good the food is! Sometimes, when I'm in the mall, I'll order a cup of broth just because. Parking: Mall parking costs $2/hr after the first two hours. Wheelchair accessibility: It's in the second floor of the mall, which is accessible by elevator or the second story of the adjacent parking structure.

The food itself isn't bad and is one of the cheaper options at Valley Fair but DO NOT download the Marugame app. They advertise a $5 intro reward at Marugame to download and register on the app, but this is a con and there is no such reward. I have reached out to Marugame twice already for the sign-up bonus and through their intermediary handling support (Thanx Support) they say they will get back to me and never do. Three months of back-and-forth communication and they still can't honor their own deal. So not only are they deceptive, but they lack any responsibility on their part. The app itself also lacks any promotions, it is entirely points purchase based and has a low purchase to reward return which makes it unworthwhile to even participate in the rewards program unless all you do is eat at Marugame every time you visit the mall. If you do make the mistake of participating in the rewards program, don't bother tying a card to your account for "automatic" points, this never seems to work and I have to take and manually upload a picture of my receipt for points every time.

Lots of choices and generous portions! I only bought food for my daughter and bf and they said it was delicious (rice bowl and a little too much rice...I would recommend getting one bowl of either udon or a rice bowl to share and then choose your own tempura to enjoy on the side)! I also bought udon and tempura for my mom, but did not get to try anything. I will be back again to enjoy for myself! Had a late lunch here, very friendly atmosphere, fast service. Food was great, best udon i’ve ever had. Gyudon was delicious as well. Max, one of the managers was going around and checked on us which completed our great Marugame experience! Definitely coming back, highly recommended!
