Delicious sushi. Great service. Great time.
A true mom and pop gem :') I've been here a couple times now, both when it wasn't super busy so the service was amazing. The fish is fresh and melts in your mouth. Simple clean cuts with a glass of Asahi is chef's kiss.
The atmosphere reminds me of the mercados near Mi Tierra, and the owners were very sweet and only added a coziness that was complimented by the beautiful art within the restaurant. The taste of the food here is as immaculate as it is comforting. A perfect place to go for an evening night out with family, friends, and loved ones.
The food is absolutely amazing and the owners are so nice. Highly recommend.
This is a very cute little sushi spot. We couldn't get into some of the "swankier" modern sushi places nearby, but honestly, I'm so glad we didn't. It seems to be run by an older Japanese couple, husband working primarily in the kitchen, and wife is primarily running the floor. We ordered the beef teriyaki platter to share, but I think there was some confusion, and we ended up with the bulgogi platter instead. But it was very tasty regardless. It came with miso soup, a salad, half a California roll, rice, and tempura. We also ordered edamame and gyoza and two sushi rolls: the Philadelphia and the dragon (I think). The fish was fresh, and I was impressed by the thickness of the salmon in the Philadelphia roll. They gave us little cheesecake bites with our check, and they were very yummy. The check was about $75 (before tip), and we were both satisfied. The whole vibe is intimate, and I'd recommend stopping by.
Yikes we did not have a good experience here at all with service or food. Service was very slow and we never did receive our soup or seaweed salad. The glass of rose was terrible and tasted old the server told me before I even tasted it she’d get me something else if I didn’t like it as if she already knew. The Sushi was okay but both the rolls and nigiri were large, awkward and sloppy. We were disappointed and won’t be back.
Portions (protein) are bigfor the sushi! Proper Japanese Restaurant
This a very small, cute place to get sushi. It did take roughly 30 to 40 minutes to get food BUT the sushi is some of the best the sushi was the texture of BUTTER and was honestly some of the best sushi ever. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free soy sauce
This is an amazing sushi restaurant. The atmosphere is very unique and the small vibe is really great. The overall quantity of sushi for the price is awesome. This is the perfect place for a hole in the wall experience.
