Nice little Japanese restaurant serving homemade Japanese noodles in delicious broth.I had the Kuro Ramen it was made of black garlic,slices of roasted pork,bean sprouts,ramen with green onions.

I am positively biased towards this place since my husband and I had our first date here. The portions are generous and the soup is warm and flavorful. I am not a big fan of the noodles which I find too doughy. I enjoy the vegetarian ramen which comes with a ton of bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, seaweed and corn. For the bay area, I think the prices here are pretty reasonable! Service is efficient.

Available on DoorDash so you can use credit card. Have not dined in recently to confirm if they take card now in person. A shame they announced they are closing for good in September. I grew up on these noodles and what keeps me coming back is their fantastic broth - Kuro and Shoyu are my favorites. The browned garlic of the kuro is something you won't find anywhere else and the shoyu has the best balance of salt and pepper. Plus, the bamboo shoots are amazing and I will be sad to not be able to have them when they close. I asked where they got it from and they mentioned it's from a supplier that doesn't sell direct to consumer. Try them before they close!

Not one of the best Raman I had, but definitely top 50%. Not sure if there is an option for thick noodles, which I would prefer but wasn’t asked. Given a lot of overpriced restaurants nearby, I am happy with the price point and quality and portion of food here.

Ate their kuro ramen. Still pretty good. Figure it was likely my last chance before they closed later this month. The restaurant want as busy as it used to be. There weren't any kimchi at the table like there used to be. Probably winding down? A little sad.

Tempura udon for only $13, perfect portion for lunch. They started to take credit card now, which is a super plus
