Well the photos are saying all that I need to say. I will be back tomorrow! The food and staff are awesome.
Solid place to grab a bite of bbq while walking around. Portion sizes are a but small but the food was good (I recommend the sweeter sauce over their vinegar-y house sauce) and I tried a new craft cider that was tasty. Plus attentive service.
Usually have a great experience, but my “brisket burger” had a single sliver of brisket. and 4 hush puppies for 4 dollars is a little questionable. Otherwise always have great customer service and short wait time. Update to response by Martin’s: Sarah is awesome!!!
Visiting Nashville and we tried Peg Leg Porker, Jack’s and Martin’s. Martin’s definitely had the most lackluster food and service. We sat at the bar and were ignored by the bartender Heather, so we just ended up asking for food at the take-out counter. Wings were tough, brisket was meh, ribs were okay. Wouldn’t return when visiting again.
Title: Disappointing Experience at Martin's Barbecue on Elliston My recent visit to Martin's Barbecue on Elliston left much to be desired. While the food was passable, the overall experience was the worst I've encountered in Nashville. Despite the appealing ambiance of the area, the lack of attentive service marred the evening. Throughout the meal, I found myself constantly having to fetch my own necessities, detracting from any enjoyment of the dining experience. Despite the potential, the subpar service overshadowed any positives, leaving me with a sense of disappointment.
They sold out of most things, but luckily, we got the wings. THEY WERE PHENOMENAL!!! If in the area again, we'll go back and try the ribs. It smells so good in there!
The food was so good we ordered seconds. No joke. Brisket was superb, ribs were sublime and the wings were outstanding. When we forgot to order gluten free and they brought it with bread (not listed as part of the dish) they brought out a fresh plate. My husband is deathly allergic to wheat. We would eat there again.
