Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint

Ordered brisket, paid, a couple minutes later I was told they were out. No worries, I got some ribs and I asked to be refunded the difference since the ribs were cheaper. They ended up refunding the entirety of what I paid and gave me the ribs for free! All because they were out of brisket! That’s so nice of them. I wish I got their names

We went for dinner on Saturday night. Martin’s is usually one of our favorites but last night was a total disappointment! The chili was a cold lump in a bowl - we ordered three cups and they were all that way. The pulled pork was room temperature (at best) instead of being served hot. The service was lackadaisical. One of my guests is a chef and food safety instructor for the state where he is from and he was very concerned. Hot foods not kept above 140 degrees F can allow bacterial growth to occur and can cause food-borne illness. The staff should be checking food temps and not serving food like we had last night. This was so disappointing since Martin’s is normally soooo good! But not last night. What happened Martin’s?

Wasn't what we expected at all. The pay before you eat is a trap. Could've gotten more from whitts BBQ for the $50 spend on 2 trays. Don't go. It's a waste of money. It's a trap.
