For me the BEST BBQ IN TOWN!
Jam up food, hand a band and they were damn good too. A spot I have often forgotten about on James Island, thank you for remedying that last night.
Service was amazing and very nice building with neat decor. The food was AMAZING and I mean absolutely to die for. I got the cheeseburger with mac n cheese, tasted like someone's papa and grandma put their heart and souls in that food. Didn't have to wait a long time for the food but honestly even if you did, I would genuinely say absolutely worth it. Pricing was fair for everything. Ps if you get a salad go with the visagarette, it's life changing.
I have never been disappointed with any meal I have had here but the reason for this review is the slap yo mama smoked bologna sandwich! If you haven’t tried it , do yourself a favor and get it the next time you’re on James Island!
Sooooo yummy!!! Service and food were both top notch. Will most definitely visit again. Even just the smell...
Not bad, but don’t come here expecting SC BBQ, cause this ain’t it. More like eastern NC. Not a lot of smoke on the pork, and was pretty bland without the only sauce they offer. Probably fine for Yankees. I didn’t have the brisket, so idk what the Texans would think about it. The smacky cheese is really good. Slaw in the creamy style but not as sweet as it appears. Not bad, but just average compared to real SC BBQ like Duke’s or Bessinger’s
Not the easiest place to navigate as far as knowing what to do/ where to go once you get there. Everybody was nice, the food was great. The lighting made me feel kinda sick though. I'm planning to go back and try it again during the day. Would recommend.
