Marthie Ann's Tennessee Blue Plate

Just another fast-food chicken restaurant. Ordered the Pork Belly small plate. It was not very crispy as advertised. Also ordered the Alabama White chicken sandwich. I had to pick off most of the greens bc they were quite obviously bad, turning brown and slimy. My review will go down to 1 star if this starts hurting my stomach. Only had two small red onion pieces on the sandwich, even tho it's supposed to be a main ingredient. The sandwiches don't come with a side unless you add one for 5$. Otherwise they come with pork rinds. Did not expect to only get 2 per sandwich. Portion sizes were off by a lot. The chicken was also quite salty. Overall not the greatest experience and will not eat here again

Lunch was excellent!! We had chicken and dressing, white cheddar mac n cheese, a spicy chicken sandwich,tenders,fries and sodas. $50 for 3 adults. The portions are very generous..Menu has tons of options.. much nicer inside than the sign makes you think it will be.. staff was polite. We will be back.

My husband and I tried Marthie Ann’s for the first time today! We really enjoyed it. My husband got the chicken liver plate with macaroni and turnip greens! I got the fried catfish plate with macaroni and turnip greens! The food was so fresh and cooked just right! We are sooo excited that they’re getting a location in Ooltewah because we are from Ooltewah.

Decided to stop in with my husband and son for a quick lunch and I’m so happy we decided to try something new! Everything was delicious and the staff was super friendly. My son (7months) loved the pinto beans. My wings were crispy and hot and the fries were seasoned really well. My husband liked his sandwich but said it was a bit salty I tried it and thought it was great so I think it’s just a personal preference. We definitely plan to come back only complaint was there isn’t a lot of seating so if they were super busy I could see it filling up quickly. Great experience! Staff kept it clean and were always smiling. I’d highly recommend it.

I depend on reviews, so I was really excited to try this out. The chicken livers were nice and crispy, but what elevated them to a slightly higer level than most was the touch of heat. It was not much, just enough.However, I was very disappointed in the caprese salad. It was grape tomatoes and mozzarella cheese balls (no pine nuts!) with barely a drizzle of balsamic glaze. It was very bland with absolutely no flavor. It is a really cute place and the staff was very sweet and welcoming. Next time, I will try the Nashville hot chicken or the waffles and chicken that everyone raved about!

We brought in a party of five just after 8:00pm. Even though they chose at 9, they served us quickly and the food was fresh and delicious. It's been consistently good every time we've been, and we've tried a variety of menu items, all good.

Love it! Update: visited a second time and the food was just bland and burnt. Smelled good, tasted awful. The greens on my sandwich were so wilted, they were slimy and dark brown. My husband usually eats anything put in front of him, but even he said it didn’t taste good. And my dog actually turned down the porkrind. Hopefully it was just a bad day! Will try again in a month or so. Dietary restrictions: Offers GF products!

Been here several times , quaint small place, owner is always there as well .I have tried the great chicken Cajun style sandwich , I have tried the meat loaf as well as roast beef all are outstanding. The peach cobbler and ice cream is a outstanding ➕. We love this place. Your doing yourself a injustice by not going.
