This pizza is literally the greasiest nastiest food I've ever eaten in my life. The crust is extremely thin and the cheese literally falls off. Impossible to eat, I (and all of my friends I went here with) had to use forks to eat it. It's been a running joke since that this place was so comically gross that we can't believe we survived it.
Something has changed-and it isn’t for the better.
If you’re in Alameda and craving pizza without the commitment of a full pie, check out this classic spot. They keep it simple: Cheese, Pepperoni, and a standout White Pizza with Ricotta and Spinach. My personal favorite? Definitely the White Pizza. The thin crust is a win, although the dough is pretty standard. What adds a unique touch is their buttermilk sauce – surprisingly good with pizza! Service-wise, it’s efficient. Order at the counter, and they’ll heat up your slices in no time. Prices are fair, making it a good value for a quick bite. The vibe is casual and unpretentious, much like a traditional pizza shop. Bonus: there’s a parking lot in the back, which is super convenient. It may not be the best pizza you’ll ever have, but it’s consistently good and hits the spot when you’re nearby. A solid choice for a quick, satisfying slice. Parking: Parking lot in the back
Pizza dough is very good. The pizza was delicious but salads were pretty unspectacular.
This is the real deal. Definitely some of the best pizza in the Bay.
Sign outside says "Best pizza on the island". Im not even gonna argue cause they know how to cook pies here. The crust stands put here. I try not to go more than 1x a week. I even bought 3 fresh skins, sauce, cheese, and packed it in my luggage w 4 frozen gel packs on flight to Denver from Oakland - update 1/9/24 I went in and thought I would try a calzone. Worst made calzone there were like 20 pepperoni in a stack as were the salami oi! And what was that sauce? That level of heat can only be put up with by less than 3% of your customers. They should only serve regular pizza sauce by default and leave the hot sauce to special requests. Who made that decision? I did not ask for hot sauce. Parking: 1-3 open parking spots on Park St behind the complex.
Authentic really good pizza
Great pizzas and breadsticks here. The eggplant parm pizza is a favorite! They made a mistake on our first order, but they fixed it quickly, so went back again and the order was flawless. Love this local spot!
