The main courses left us with more to be desired. I had the ramen, which was more of a Vietnamese style pho than ramen. The broth was very plain, and quite disappointing since you can get a better tasting dish at half the price down the street. I would suggest the chef check out what they are doing at Echilon downtown Leesburg for some inspiration. Also try out the ramen in the neighboring Japanese restaurants in Loudoun county for ideas on how to make an even better dish for the $38 tag price. Overall I was not surprised that the restaurant was dead on a friday night, given our experience.
Great care to details for each dish, got the pleasure of speaking to the head chef and hearing their decisions regarding each dish’s ingredients. Also appreciate that each meat has a caring farm attributed to it. Loved the careful attention to detail for us two. Excited to go back for the next season’s menu!
Dear Market Table Bistro: you are a gem in the DMV. You are all Michelin to us. Every time we dine with you, we leave with bellies & hearts full. This time was no exception. Thank you for all the effort you put into procuring locally sourced options & serving them up in the most delightful & delicious way. (I just finished the to go side of beans/root vegetables on toast & said an out loud & potentially annoying YUM with every bite. SO GOOD.) Thank you for all you do.
Best Bistro in Loudoun County!
Food was terrible undercooked, got food poisoning afterwards. Would not recommend
I've really enjoyed every experience, support local, luckily doing so here still delivers to the plate.
We love Market Table Bistro — we eat all over at Michelin restaurants and we were delighted to find this resto close to home. Chef does a terrific job sourcing locavore provisions and prepares the dishes with attention to detail and some whimsy thrown in. The atmosphere is intimate and friendly — chef will come out and talk to you more than once. Truly enjoy!
