Mario's Portofino Ristorante

Went here on valentines, had a reservation for 8:30 and we were told they would only hold the reservation for 10 minutes. We arrive at 8:30 to find out that 8:00 reservations had not even been seated yet. We waited about 30 minutes before leaving and getting a reservation at Bimini Steakhouse. Don’t come here on holidays or you will be waiting ridiculously long times. Waiting 30 minutes defeats the whole purpose of a reservation.

Went with a small group of friends had some excellent appetizers and we took advantage of the early bird dinner menu which was more than satisfying staff was welcoming and friendly all in all I would definitely go back

Food is decent. Veal Parm and lasagna. Upscale setting. Excellent service. Lemonade is different...not like expected. Would probably be a great place for a date, but for us it's more of a pass. Not quite our style and price point is above our perceived value as we are specifically food focused not as much atmosphere. Multi-course and wine people would probably enjoy it. Worth trying if you are in the area as it may be a spot for you.
