Still love this place - and tonight's music was exceptional. This is a real gem - sometimes it's fun, music and wine, other times it's a cool hangout with friends. The place is always interesting and pretty much just great. You will enjoy yourself there. Mostly dog friendly too!

Quiant little place to enjoy some great wines and good company. The owner is very knowledgeable about wine. We enjoyed talking to him.

This is a cozy spot with a laid back but highly knowledgeable staff. They recently changed ownership and have been doing a bunch of cool new things, open most days of the week, great food, live music and more. I have had a membership here for the past few months and think it has to be the best value wine club out there with a free drink each time you go, discounts, and a monthly members night where you get free food and wine. I go here several times a week and have hosted professional guests, family, and frequently just come to hang out and unwind. I started coming here with no wine experience but have learned a lot from the staff. I also appreciate that they are a low waste venue. This place really has it all. Vegetarian options: Most of the food options here come with a vegetarian option. Parking: Parking is almost always highly available. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to access with a wheelchair.

A great location...but service and food especially falls short. Ordered flatbreads and they come out looking like mini pizza hut pizza's. Not what I was hoping for...and would not order again. Go check out the flat bread at Ballast Point instead. The 7 layer mediterranean dip was unimpressive as well. Like the different varieties of wine...but orders had to be done at the bar...so thats not very convenient. Better food and service; this place could be a nice visit.

Fantastic vibes and charismatic staff. My friends and I will sometimes come here after dancing on Friday nights when we want some place chill to hang out and unwind before heading home. Located in a small corner shop off the Alamitos Bay Marina, the location offers a cozy atmosphere with limited indoor seating and an outdoor patio. We will often post up at a table before managing to snag one of the gas fire rings that they will sometimes set up outside, spending the rest of the night chatting away and enjoying the cool sea breeze. The staff has been consistently wonderful and friendly, often stopping to converse with us and make jokes when they have the time. Sometimes they will even share a glass with us and toast to the end of the week and the start of the weekend. From time to time, local performers and artists will come to display their talents by playing jazz or showcasing paintings to patrons as you enjoy your alcoholic spoils. The stock changes periodically and offers a wide variety of wine that ranges in price and vintage, but is always of good quality. There is only a small kitchen onsite, so I recommend going out to eat elsewhere if you want something more substantial to fill your belly. However, they do offer tapas and other small bites to snack on while enjoying your merlot (or whatever you prefer). There are some beer options available for non-wine drinkers but do not expect to find any hard alcohol cocktails available. If that's what you want, you can always go to the pub right next door (but that place is a different kind of tone entirely). Parking can be a little tough on Fridays, due to the location being shared with Ballast Point and other shops, but you can always park in the lot for the marina merely a stones-throw away. Enjoy your stay, savor your wine and remember to tip and fist-bump your sommelier.
