Margot Cafe & Bar

A staple of the East Nashville dining, one of the OG restaurants on this side of the river. Consistently fabulous for 20+ years. Everything on the menu is good, the ambience is quaint and cozy, and the staff are delightful. I eat here often.

This was an amazing experience my husband and I had while we were visiting Nashville. Very impressed with the food, service, and ambience here. Although we didn't have a reservation and the place was packed they accommodated us quickly so we had the pleasure to dine in at Margot. From appetizers to drinks and dessert, everything was exquisite and tasted so good. The portions are the right size for you to enjoy the food not to overeat. Isn't that great? We had housemade focaccia with herb infused oil, greener roots salad, salmon, Shephard's pie and gingerbread cake, and thoroughly enjoyed all. The cocktail I had with gin and pear was pretty delicious with just right amount of sweetness and not syrupy at all. Highly recommend it and will definitely eat here if we visit Nashville again!

I don't like my steak cut in pieces when served

Love this place. Menu is excellent and rotates daily. Service is always good and very professional (explaining details of the menu, making insightful recommendations, etc.) Perfect spot for a date night or special occasion.

Every time I have eaten at Margot has been a wonderful experience with world-class cuisine. One of the best dining experiences in Nashville.
