Margaux

In town for opening night of Les Mis as the last part of our honeymoon trip. Decided to eat in the hotel restaurant (something I don't normally do because they are often overpriced for not much reward) and was exceptionally impressed. My wife had the whitefish and I had the roasted chicken, both fantastic. We had the flatbread as an appetizer along with ceasar salads and after trying both we already knew we were getting more than our money's worth. Our waitress knew it was our honeymoon and took care of our deserts, and the mint in the chocolate was incredibly strong (a good thing!). Definitely would eat here again if we are in town, especially for another show (Les Mis was also fantastic, it was a great honeymoon!)

Good service with attentive and caring servers, quality of food was top notch, but doesn't exude top tier fine dining. Rather, it welcomes guests of all kinds and its perfect for a night out !

We had a great time at the jdek! We reserved an igloo and it was the perfect private fine dining experience! Our server, Brandon was so sweet and gave great recommendations! The food was delicious and we will definitely be back! Thank you!

Great food, amazing service, cool atmosphere

It was our first time in Grand Rapids, we were there for the auto show. Decided to give Margaux a try and boy are glad we did. I cannot say enough about this place, the atmosphere was beautiful, the food was EXCELLENT! Even better was the service, our server Melissa went out of her way to make our experience amazing!!! Shout out also to Catherine, for great conversation! We were invited back for brunch the next day and it was just as good! We will definitely make the trip again just for Margaux.

Everything was special at Margaux. The food was delicious and and the service was amazing. We were staying at the hotel, still made a reservation, had a great dinner and experience.

First time at this restaurant. Was staying at the hotel while visiting family. We ordered a wide variety of appetizers and they were all excellent! The entre' of Gnocchi was amazing! Brandon was a great waiter and was very knowledgeable. Would not hesitate to come back.

Bring your wallet! Dinner for two and a few drinks was $200 with a tip. Don't take that as a complaint, we knew what were getting into money wise. And the food definitely stacked up. Parking was easy and a walk across the street without having to go outside was great. Definitely a place to go on a special occasion.

We had three mornings of breakfast here while at a conference, and the food, staff, service and surroundings were first-rate every time. We hope to be back!
