Maple Street Biscuit Company

Not only did the love of my life break up with me at this establishment, several years later I came to get brunch with a good friend to make fun of that very heartbreak and they closed an hour early. Now I have two reasons to never come back

My first time wanting to try this restaurant known as “The Biscuit Company” and the biscuits don’t look anything as advertised. The biscuits were small - cold and hard. To hard to cut with a fork - even the gravy didn’t soften the biscuit. Because we were unable to even cut the biscuit they offered to make fresh ones which would take 15 mins (but as advertised they are suppose to be fresh) so we were served old fries out hard biscuits. The manager gave me a full refund and we were not able to eat because we couldn’t bite the biscuit. We drove an hour to try this place and waisted gas and time. So they replied to my review and said email them - I emailed them no reply!

I did a to go order and they left out and item, Heidi went above and beyond to help correct the situation. Great food and great customer service. Thank you

I stopped by 03.19.24 around 12pm, my husband and I ordered BEC biscuit, chicken biscuit and chicken and waffles. The nice young lady at the front was very welcoming and showed us the ropes on how the place works i.e Self serve, order/pay at the front. Everything was going well until we received our food after everyone else. 30 minutes in and everyone who came before us received their food. We received our chicken/BEC biscuits 20 mins after we ordered. No word about the chicken and waffles order. My husband went to the front and asked about his order, just for the caucasian lady in the kitchen to say she just served her last chicken and waffle order to someone else (who came in after we did) and that they ran out of waffles. We waited 30 minutes just for her to say that to my husband. The nice young lady at the front offered to replace our order or refund, we asked for a refund. It’s unfortunate that we had been eyeing this place for a while just for our first time experience to end like this. My husband and I are foodies and we’re always trying new places everyday. We will not be coming back or recommending this place.

We finally got to try this place and I’m glad we did. The smashbrowns were delicious. The sausage gravy was very, very good on the biscuit. Coffee readily available and the staff were a nice. You order your food and then go sit at a table and wait for it to be called out as ready. The wait for the foot was not bad at all.

Waited an hour or more for ordering and food then had to go sit outside to eat since it’s not organized for seating by party inside. People just occupying tables not eating and just talking. Tables were dirty and not cleaned in between people sitting. The food was good though but not the best system for the inside.

It was pretty good. My biscuit was flavorful but very tough. I couldn't cut it, even with the knife. And it was very loud. Not sure about the table situation. BIG tables that everyone shares. Sometimes, I am social. Sometimes, I wouldn't want to sit with a bunch of randos. Today wasn't an issue, but it could be.
