Maple Street Biscuit Company

Maple Street Biscuit Company is a little different from a typical breakfast place. The menu includes your standard breakfast like bacon and eggs but they "smashbrowns" which are like a potato pancake except smaller. The biscuits and gravy are really good. The gravy is slightly spicy and the biscuits are fluffy and fresh. They have a good selection of coffee drinks made to order. Service is great. Food arrives quickly and there is plenty of seating. The place does get busy on the weekend. A solid place for a great breakfast. Parking: There is a free parking garage just steps away from the door.

The food was great but customer service was severely lacking. The person taking our order was doing other things and we had to double check that they got it right. When I went up and asked for a box someone got it for me without saying anything and barely looked up from the iPad.

Do not place ToGo orders online at this location. The first time they didn't make it at all. I arrived, stood, waited for 10 mins after they said the order would be ready while I watched employees just stand and chat. When I brought it up, they go back and look and said my order was overlooked. No apology just that they would start it now. I said no I needed to go. They issued a refund and gave me $10 maple bucks. I appreciated the effort to make things correct. Fast forward to today (3 weeks later). I paid for extra goat cheese. Got home and no goat cheese. Rechecked the order and I did pay for it. My fault for not checking the bag there and for thinking it would be a good experience this time. Don't get me wrong, the food is delicious. Just go in and order and sit down so you can correct the incorrect order. I will go to a different location and use my maple bucks because you can't use it online any way. Disappointing.

We had the waffles and Five & Dime biscuit and gravy. I had high hopes but was pretty disappointed because the biscuit was flavorless. Waffles were fine. Will not return.

We had a great visit. Mark was super helpful in moving tables for our party and then very informative when ordering!!
