The best Japanese bbq in OC. Gets expensive real quick but the quality is worth it.

They promised to hire me and I have moved all the way, but they broke the promise easily! They are real devils from Japan. I never do that kind of thing to anyone. They are perfectly SHAME of Japan!!! Never never work here!!!

I liked it but not enough to fight the line or the parking lot to eat at. I enjoyed the meat here but I feel like there are other places I would prefer to eat at with less stress and less waiting.

Superior quality meat. Casual dining atmosphere.

We called ahead on 5/17/22 to make a reservation at the Costa Mesa location and the host lied to us telling us they’re booked, but I was able to place a reservation at 9:45 online. When I walked in an hour early, the host was turning away customers when there was still availability on the website. After they left, I waited for him to address me next as I wanted to check in, but he didn’t bother to greet me and walked past me 5 times. I approached him letting him know I wanted to check in. He confirmed my reservation but sounded annoyed and told me that last call will be immediately after getting seated. When I walked back in 10 min prior to my reservation to check on my table, I saw that he had shut down 3 tables, making customers wait longer than necessary. We pointed to the empty tables and he said we have to wait until current diners are done to seat us at those tables. At that point, we decided to leave after waiting over an hour due to his demeanor as he did not make us feel welcomed and almost felt like he was trying to punish us for making the reservation near closing.The way he operates, he cost the company a minimum of $500 profit tonight, including the customers he turned away when he could have seated them too.

High quality cuts of meat, a bit pricey but you are paying for what you get. I always order the cabbage salad as a a starter, their dressing for it is so yum!

The meat served here is really good. The cuts are well marveled and very tender.
