Manny's Cucina Napoletana

Went in last week with my boyfriend, I hadn’t been in yet. The service and food were both excellent and beyond my expectations. Lisa was the sweetest and most attentive server and made the experience so pleasant

First (and last) visit to Manny's. We were seated quickly by what appeared to be the ONLY server working (an older female). We were brought to our table, handed menus, and she said "I'll be right back." No hello, no welcome in, nothing. After a few minutes, we were asked what we wanted to drink and if we were ready to order. I stated it was our first time here, and was told "I'll give you a few minutes then." and she returned and took our order. She never smiled. I felt like we should have left half way through waiting for our food, but I observed her not really talking to anyone. I understand restaurants are understaffed and overwhelmed at times, but staff who decide to work serving tables and being the face of the establishment should understand how they are projecting themselves to the public. It can make or break the decision for patrons to return.

My wife and I often eat at Manny’s and the thing we love about it is that is authentic Italian cuisine. I couldn’t tell you what half the ingredients they’re cooking with but the end result is fantantic. The pizzas are one of the best in Brevard. Last night I had the Salmon special and my wife had the Braised Beef Osobuco and it was better than anybody else in Brevard and half the price. Great bartenders too.

Please note: this review is in regard to the service** One of the worst service I’ve ever experience in a while. There was this server there, that was rolling her eyes because I asked her if we can have a cheese pizza ( I guess she didn’t like I called it cheese pizza, she rolled her eyes and corrected me and said it’s called a margherita. Granted, this is my first time here and not a great start) She rolled her eyes three times before I got up and told her, I need the check, I’m leaving. That is something that I can’t deal with, someone with a bad attitude and taking it out on people for no reason. I told the manager and she said that she’s been here since the beginning and she’s super nice. Well, here’s the review that makes that statement false. The manager could care less what I had to say and pretty much took the side of the rude server. I guess, but I’m pretty sure I’m not the first person who has experienced this at Mannys.( read further in the reviews) My daughter and I felt unwelcomed and uncomfortable at this place. I went up to this server and told her I didn’t like her attitude, she smirked at me and walked away. Even her fellow server asked her what’s wrong, and left her with without saying a word to her. If you are having a bad day, take the day off! If you are new to the area or from out of town, stay far away. You get more than pizza here, an extra side of “eye rolls”

Absolutely the worst restaurant I've been to since moving to Florida. The lasagna was nasty and my son's meal some kind of mushroom pasta was even worse. The bread was disappointing and to pay $12 for 3 dough mozzarella balls with flavorless sauce was beyond awful. People had told me Manny's was good so we had to try it. Should have waited at Amici's. 1000 times better and less expensive.

Food may be excellent, but the way they acknowledge you at the door is abysmal. Zero care for wait time when picking up food. 30 minutes past when should have been ready and I have to flag people down because they’re avoiding me. Have a dedicated hostess. That would fix the complaints of not just me, but all the others waiting wondering when they’ll get seated or even talked to.

A very pleasant surprise! The food and service were outstanding. We will absolutely return soon!
