The food is mediocre at best. Sorry, I'm not gonna to lie. Garlic rice a bit mushy and under seasoned. Asked for egg over medium and it was overdone! Service and staff very friendly, tho. Clean enough but dreary, no decor to speak of. The bathrooms were barricaded by shelving so we had to rush home. I had 2 items and sis had one, we bought bottled water. The bill was almost $40 (!!), but as they say... everything is getting so expensive... they could at least provide dinner sized paper plates instead of the smaller luncheon sized.
Buena comida, el lugar es pequeño pero atienden con muchas ganas!!!
Unadulterated Filipino recipes. Very reasonable pricing. Wide variety of choices. Great people behind the counter. Operated & managed according to the values & demeanor of the original founder & owner. And if you were lucky enough to know the lady that's all the recommendation you would ever need. Dietary restrictions: If you have dietary restrictions don't go to a Filipino restaurant. You'll have a difficult time enjoying the food as it should be eaten. If you're willing suspend the rules, for one meal... by all means- go.
Nice place! Good simple food. The rice was especially well prepared. I had a very filling beef stew.
Best food ever. It’s a must go restaurant in Bay Area. I recommend to anyone visiting wanting some comfort food & friendly people. Owner’s made Togo pick up easy. & delicious Thank you!!!!!!
Ate a lot from this great place!
Get the steamed sour fish!
Love Manila Eatery!!! I've been coming to this place back when they were in Bayhill Center in San Bruno. If we get food catered this is always our place. Great family owned place. Great cook and staff. Always very nice people behind the counter. The wife and I stop here often during the weekends for a good home style Filipino cooked meal. The tapa, adobo, pusit, I love it all!!! We never had a bad meal here. The food always taste the same, delicious. For all these reasons, we always return!!!!
