Update: Inconsistency with food quality. So the last time I ordered from here the food was good but my recent purchase was VERY disappointing. The bagels were stale and very cumbersome to chew. The bacon was fully cooked and the Danish was not the danish that I ordered the last time it was a complete different Danish. It looked like a frozen food Danish that they popped in the microwave, did not look like it came from a bakery at all. I have updated my rating to reflect my experience. I believe in consistency and quality and I was disappointed. FINALLY! I’m from nyc and these are definitely nyc bagels! 100%. I have been searching for a good bagel and these bagels took me back home. The cinnamon raisin bagel was DELICIOUS! Just the right amount of sweet. It was soft and perfect texture. Haven’t had one that good in a long time. I loved the spicy cream cheese. The bacon egg and cheese croissants was yummy and so was the danish. I really enjoyed this spot so much. So glad to know there are nyc bagels in Charlotte. The only thing that shocked me was how tiny the bagels are lol but it was still worth it. Next time I will just order more than one. Great job guys! Will definitely be a return customer.

Been here a couple times now, both times staff has gotten my name and order incorrect. The bagels are OK, but very small. My sandwich had a lot of pastrami, but was very dry with unmelted cheese. Won't be coming back a third time.

I’ve heard so much about Manhattan bagel and had the pleasure of working with Natalie at Versona. 1/21/24 was my first time ever going. I had every intention of getting a bagel but ended up getting a wrap. I am very much a foodie. And when I say this wrap hit differently… it HIT differently the bacon bits, the CHEESE was heavenly, along with everything else in the wrap just such wonderful flavor blends. The double chocolate Dutch muffin absolutely delicious super fresh too! And the coffee specially the vanilla nut smelled so good and with the vanilla syrup Woooo. And I have to give a shot out to the owner he was very attentive to the customers putting out fresh coffee immediately after they ran out and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. I will be back

Ok. First off, no one helped me for about 5 min that I stood at the counter. I got a half dozen bagels, crescent, and coffee cake. Bagels - not an authentic NY bagel. If really hungry it's ok Cream cheese- fine Crescent - ewe, didn't finish it. This was not good. Coffee cake - only reason for 2 stars. Decent, just too much topping.

Used to love the bagels, would go almost twice a week for roughly 2-3 years. over the last 7-8 times I've gone recently the bagels are just bad. Super hard, old stale, and it's been every time recently not just here and there so the quality clearly just fell off. This is my final straw, this bagel is literally rock hard, attached is a recording of me knocking on it sounding like I'm knocking on a door.
