Food is surprisingly delicious. I ordered one their popular one - beef pares and it took me back to the Philippines. Highly recommended.
Came to this place with high expectations to find the soft shell crabs to be very bland even after dipping them in the sauce. The Philipino oxtail soup, on the other hand, was way too salty. Needless to say, we left pretty disappointed.
Food was overall good. Chicken Shanghai (lumpia) - good but nothing amazing / unique. Sizzling sisig - great! Good portion. Still had leftovers even after sharing with family members. Sizzling pusit - cooked well, wish it came with more, there was just a lot of leftover residual sauce. Longanisa fried rice - good, again, just basic fried rice with a protein and no mind blowing flavors lol. Garlic rice upgrade - doesn't really enhance anything, not worth the $2 extra Knocked off stars because of customer service. Older guy handing out water made a remark about my child that I didn't find funny... (Wasn't being messy or crazy, he was just excited to eat). Kind of set the mood for me for the rest of the dining experience. He didn't come back to the table so maybe he understood what he said was rude, unnecessary, and I didn't appreciate it. Also didn't like how server was a little overbearing when it came to watching us pay and hovering tablet over the food I was still working on, watching the tipping area. Maybe that's just how it is in 2024 (shrug) I would probably come back to try the huge halo halo and matcha flan next time, maybe Uber Eats lol.
Came here before for their breakfast menu but saw that the prices had raised quite a bit. Food was good but my sisig was not even hot enough to cook the raw egg that was placed on top. Other than that the rest of our orders were pretty good.
