Mandi Mediterranean Bistro

Awesome!!!! We were transported to the Mediterranean with the food and excellent service!! Best best best!! The sampler was a good start. No need to go overseas for such authentic tastes! Parking: Ample parking spots available for a Wednesday evening.

We had a fantastic experience at Mandi, an amazing Mediterranean restaurant in Alexandria, VA. It was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and delicious food. The chicken mandi and tea we ordered were both incredibly flavorful. The mandi rice had a mild yet aromatic taste, and the chicken was tender and buttery. The generous portion size was perfect for two people. Along with the rice, we enjoyed the Egyptian salad and flavorful sauces. The tea was also refreshing. The service was top-notch, especially thanks to the manager Hussam, who was polite and skilled at serving customers. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained.

Had delivery from this restaurant. The hummus was not edible. Labneh was okay. Chicken shawarma sandwiches were gross and the flavors were off. Very disappointing.

Really good flatbread and kabobs

Sadly they had run out of Lamb Mandi by the time we got there (which just goes to show how popular it is)! But our disappointment was short-lived as the Chicken Kabsa we ordered was delectable! The chicken was well seasoned and fell right off the fork and the rice was very flavorful. The Lentil Soup was also very tasty, a comfort food that reminded me of home. The service was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely have to come back and call ahead to make sure they still have the Lamb Mandi!

Great authentic food and Hussam was very friendly and accommodating

I was alarmed by the nearly perfect reviews, too! I thought to myself: this can’t be possible. But after eating from there, I completely understand. I’ve been there twice in the past two days and had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, meat samosas, and wings. The food did not disappoint at all! Their fettuccine Alfredo is the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had quite a number of them!! The meat samosas were generously filled with deliciously seasoned minced meat. The buffalo wings were great too! The staff is so nice and welcoming…my conversations with them have been so lovely. The man I call “Sir” and the chef are so so friendly! I love this place so much and will be back again soon! Do yourself a favor and give them a try. You won’t regret it!!

The food was sooo fresh and delicious, down to the fresh made lemonade and mango juices we got. Such a home cooked meal feel, with tender halal meat, fresh baked naan, and crispy kibbeh. Service was amazing and the owner treated us like family. I can't wait to go back and try their kenafa and more dishes!

Shawarma sandwich was just unseasoned chicken chunks, with slices Valsic dill pickles inside a tortilla. The ventilation was struggling so smell on clothes was more than enough.
