How can you make a cheesesteak better than anybody else? Mama's Pizza does it the best? Something in it is just unbelievable as the best cheesesteak I've ever had.

I came here with my friend who was bragging about how good the cheesesteaks were and to be honest I was not feeling it. They’re cheesesteaks have the craziest amount (not in a good way) of a copper sharp blend in them which is the main issue. There’s too much cheese and they don’t even allow the cheese to melt with the meat on the grill. Then they just slap it on the roll. It’s really like ur eating a Stromboli instead of a cheesesteak and that’s straight facts. The cheese is suppose to blend and melt into the meat. If they had did that you could probably get past the fact that they slap it on just an as is roll (not tasted or nothing) but you can’t because the roll ends up soggy and chewy.

Mama's has THE BEST CHEESESTEAK. It's so big they give you a fork, knife, and a plate. Yes, it is better than Dalessandro's. In fact, if you like Dalessandro's you will love Mama's, it's a better tasting bigger version. I have been coming here since I was a kid with my father. The same woman has served me and the same man cooks the food. Currently only take out right now. Every person I have brought here has left telling me it was the best they had ever had. Parking: Parking is a small lot on the side of the building right before the bridge.

This is a long running place but I wouldn't recommend it based on the obvious uncalled for nastiness of the employee. The cheese steak was large, though more due to bread than meat, and the apparently default cheese, that I was not aware of and they don't bother informing you of, is a "cheese blend" that seems to be tasteless blobs of mozzarella instead of one of the typical cheesesteak cheeses. The meat overall tasted like unseasoned roast beef. They also charged $2 more than the already pricey menu price of $16 making it an ungodly $18 sandwich (it's a pound and a half he said, yeah all bread) and they don't want to correct the online menu price which smacks of bait and switch. But, worse, the employee, when I went back there to get salt upon discovering the sandwich drastically unseasoned , and who had already not been friendly, said to me at the door when I asked for salt "we're closed" (they had literally just closed)! Can you imagine some jerk who I just gave 18 dollars to telling me theyre closed when I ask for salt? Then he claimed they didn't have salt packets so I asked him to put salt in my hand from one of the salt shakers that is on every table, which of course he hadn't offered. He grudgingly acquiesced to get me a cup with salt and brought me a cup with a smidgen of salt in it. Don't patronize jerks, I say.

I kept hearing about this place that has the best cheesestake hoagie, meatballs and more. Well , finally decided to check out the food and what a disappointment it was. From all the good talk, figured this place had great tasty food but it tastes more like cardboard, very dry , no seasoning and the worse was the can mushrooms. What a waste of my money! The only thing that was nice was the bread but that was it. I won’t be recommending this place at all and will be talking to the people that recommended this place to tell them to go find their taste buds! Update:since I hadn't eaten all the dry meatballs, I got some sauce, sweet peppers, mushsrooms, onions and added my spices salt, black pepper, oregano, and made some spaguetti sauce for pasta. It was the only way that I could finish eating dry tasteless meatballs.
