Mama's Cupboard / No Work Allowed

Cute and relaxing on a Saturday afternoon. Not busy at all. Love the vintage/eclectic decor. Very friendly service!

Decent bahn mi. Dreadful country music warbling through the atmosphere. More expensive than prices posted outside.

I ordered and paid for a sandwich from Mama's Cupboard online in November 2023. The store had called me and advised they were missing an ingredrient and I requested that they cancel the order. Although the order was canceled, I never received a refund. I had called and visited the store and advised that the manager that was not available to process the refund, but would do so and send me a copy of the receipt to the phone number I provided them. It is now March 2024 and I still have not received a refund. It is also now too late for me to dispute with my credit card. As reaching out to Mama's Cupboard on private channels have not helped, perhaps they will respond to public channels.

This place exceeded any expectations of a quick meal. The Banh mi was so good. Do not look further

Lovely shop - hard to find without the address. Tofu Banh Mi was delicious - bread fresh and warm and perfect balance of pickled veg,etc. Excellent vermicelli bowl with chicken - so good! Kimchi side delicious and not over-salted. Fresh spring roll was perfect- and it is loosely wrapped which I prefer.

The best banh-mi I've ever had. The environment was so cozy and the waitress/owner was so welcoming. Will go here again!!

They set up at the NYC Bryant Park Holiday Shop. Service from the female who took my order was okay, however the cook/cashier who felt the need to rush for my payment was rude a*** ish. No immediate attitude from me I paid cash and stand to the side awaiting my food. It took 10 mins to get a hoagie style coconut shrimp sandwich. Mind you there was no line as folks came up pondering if they should order. Finally I got my sandwich... YALLLL I could not believe what/why I paid $19 for 3 small shrimp sliced down to make 6 on a sandwich loaded with carrot, less sauce on a dry n crunchy hero bread. There was a empty stool where I was able to eat my sandwich and folks who walked by... I told anyone I could not to stop n purchase, surprisingly two couples agreed as they ate from here earlier. Just worthless lots of expensive fluff
