Rude people , maybe they don't like their jobs .
Good place for a quick bite. Love the pastries, and have enjoyed the menu items I've had. Don't bring your laptop expecting to work - there's a no-laptop policy at the tables. A good spot to chat or do some reading.
Delightful bakery/cafe with indoor & outdoor seating, huge portion size of baked goods, nice selection of whole food breakfast bowls & light brunch/lunches, all Instagram worthy & delicious. Clean, friendly service.
Delicious food: we ordered the veggie reuben, the choose your own omelet, and the honey lavender latte. The cashier was efficient but short with us. Asked us if we had a table - we had just walked in and were unfamiliar. She shoved a table number at us and said, "You'll need to put this on your table, if you can't find a seat I have to make it to go." We thought we would have to sit at the horribly uncomfortable stools in the back when we saw someone leaving and grabbed their table ASAP. Whew. Self-serve tap water, I had to figure it out, find it and pour it myself. Might be normal in NYC, but I found it odd that they didn't say anything to me or my wife. Atmosphere is beautiful and food is tasty but idk if it's worth the unwelcoming service, down a star for that. EDIT: please note they are a laptop-free environment, you WILL be asked to put yours away if you use it.
The food is delicious. The deserts are scrumptious. Those chocolate chip cookies have saved me on multiple occasions. To go service using apps needs improvement. I've gone in there waiting for food 10 minutes past the pickup time.
The best chocolate chips I have ever tried, I loved the latte and the attention is adorable!! This place is the right place to go and have an excellent time, the atmosphere gives you peace and is perfect for taking beautiful photos, 100% recommended!!
