Love the food and the manager is awesome
The food at Mamak Asian Street food was outstanding! I had the Nasi Goreng Indonesia which was superb. The dish was rich and flavorful with spicy and umami notes. An amazing combination of fried rice, scallions, chicken, shrimp and topped with a fried egg. My girlfriend got a tofu Lo Mein (the tofu option may not show up in the menu but you can ask if they can make it vegetarian) which was a great mix of flavor profiles as well. All in all the restaurant had great food, atmosphere and service. We will be back to Mamak Asian Street Food soon. Highly recommended!
I'm really confused by these reviews. The food was edible but nothing was good and I wouldn't eat here again. All the sauces were weird tasting and disappointing. There's a thick layer of dust on the ropes in the ceiling which is pretty gross. The service however was lovely. very nice waitress and got our food fast.
Excellent food and price, good portions.
Food was great but poor service. Server takes a long time to come. Food comes one at a time. It would be nice if you get your order all at one time. Rice came out last. We had all the others.
Having lived in Asia for more than 10 years, every chance I get to eat Malaysian food I have to see how it stakes up. Mee Goreng is a minimal requirement and Roti Cannai is a close second. Let’s just say, definitely met me expectations and I’ll be back - with all my friends in tow. Check it out for sure. Parking: Parking is in the back.
As I am from Singapore, I decided to bring my boyfriend to try out the food close to my heart because he hasnt had the chance to visit yet. I ordered the Beef Hor Fun and he, the Char Kway Teow, but we both ended up liking the Beef Hor Fun more. My boyfriend loved the Roti Canai especially, it was soft but crispy. The Thai Milk Tea was spot on! The food did taste quite authentic. Would recommend it if you haven't had the chance to visit Singapore or Malaysia!
