Literally the nicest employees. The food is terrific and the atmosphere is cute and quaint. A great place to hang out!

I haven't tried their soups but hear good things. I have had their pulled pork though, which is excellent!

Came here to get lunch several times, and my mouth still waters whenever I think about this place. Out of all the places around Mineola that I've tried so far, this one is the best. I always get the tomato soup and the hot chicken sandwich, I've never felt inclined to try the other items because I only crave these two things from Mama Soup. I've heard some people say that there are some items here which are bland and lacking in flavor, but I wouldn't know, because the two things I always get are always on point. Tomato Soup: It's not the best tomato soup I've ever had (the honor goes to Cafe Gossip), but Mama Soup's tomato soup is served with little cubed of grilled cheese sandwich bites that make me so happy to eat. The soup itself is more bland in flavor, but still has the acid punch of the tomatoes, so I still enjoy it. Personally, if I were making it, I'd add some more cheese, spices, and heavy cream to make it more sumptuous. 4/5 Hot Chicken Sandwich: One of the best sandwiches I've had, with the perfect balance of peppers, sauce, meat, and veggies. The portion is great and I usually still have half a sandwich to eat for dinner after eating the other half with the soup. The kick is there and pleasant. They've nailed the composition of this sandwich, I wish I could eat it again soon! 5/5 The food is great, and there's plenty of seats if you'd like to dine in. However the wait for the food is rather long, about 15-20 minutes for an order, but I find it's worth the wait. Hope to stop by again when I can!

The pea soup and the potato leek soup are absolutely top tier! I ate all 16 ounces and was left wishing for more.

Decent food, but way overpriced. Got a Philly cheesesteak on a roll and a Snapple iced tea, $15. I could have got a pre made sandwich at stop n shop for $6. A quart of clam chowder here is like $15. Get a can of progresso clam chowder for $2.39 and it's just as good.

Friendly staff at the register. Food is average at best though, and they’re EXTREMELY overpriced, so I don’t buy lunch there anymore - especially with at least 2 places within a half mile that give larger portions for a fraction of the price.
