Very charming tiny restaurant with a great menu that includes rare Japanese and Korean cuisine that are only found in Toronto. I adored how each table feels more private and intimate thanks to the interior decor! and highly culturally inspired. We were served their japchae, the salmon lovers lunch, the volcano roll, and the malado roll. I will most certainly return because parking was convenient and there was no wait time to be seated.
best pork bone soup hands down. the flavours are excellent. i almost refuse to have pbs anywhere else.
Friendly and very tasty food
Order a bento box and ox bone soup for lunch ! Amazing ! Would have added a picture but ate it all !
Ok so I used to love this place . I would order in a lot more than I’d visit . But I feel after their prices went up even the food is kinda inconsistent. It’s seems like it’s family run . The service is decent but the quality I feel has gone down in the past year or so . Really used to like the place I hope it gets back to its OG flavor and quality .
Order take out from here all the time and it’s consistent. It’s the only sushi place in the area so you know you have to support, but the food is good, fast and fresh. Highly recommend to everyone.
I haven't been to Molado's for a hot min bit took the fam today and cannot express how much I've missed their food. The food is always tasty and flavourful and presentation is always on point. The atmosphere is always great as it's a small mom and pop joints in the hood. Great things always comes out of the hood...people always wanna to judge but that's where it's at if you want great food!
Ordered Sullungtang, white rice and Korean side dish and was quite disappointed. First of all, disappointing portion of beef in Sullungtang and too much noodles compared to the beef. And the fact that Sullungtang included white rice and I got 2 rice bowls but in the photo it only shows the soup and no mention whatsoever that it includes white rice?? That is not acceptable. And Korean side dish menu items unacceptably different from the photo (the only matching items were Kimchi & cucumber kimchi). Never ordering again.
I’ve tried this place after looking at other reviews, but everything is just below average. First of all, the server wasn’t sure which menu gets what, which I get it since everybody makes mistakes. If that’s the case, most of the time, the food makes up for it. Unfortunately, the miso soup was just blend, the tempura was just overcooked, the sushi/sashimi were not at all fresh, and I couldn’t have more than one bite of the side dishes. I’m not sure if it was just a one-day thing, but I wouldn’t recommend this place.
