All around ok but not great.
Really good sushi, fresh fish, veteran sushi chef Gilbert takes great care of his customers at the sushi bar. As far as menu pricing goes, Makizushi lands on the affordable side of the sushi spectrum. New owner is a young entrepreneur, doing a great job!
Food was good, table service was horrible. They sat us right outside the kitchen, waitress was rude.
Very good food and a nice staff. Will go back.
update from the prior review. The teriyaki tasted horrible The calamari was good but again sauce was horrible -a bit disappointment for my birthday dinner.
I lived in Hawaii for 12 years annd have eaten a lot of raw fish and this is the freshest sushi I have found in Santa Rosa. The Poke Bowls are so delicious. The staff is very professional and are always eager to assist. You can tell they genuinely love their jobs. There is always parking and the restaurant is clean and has nice decor.
